Oshkosh sweeps two from Addison

The Oshkosh Giants swept a doubleheader against Addison, winning 6-1 in the first game and 11-7 in the second game in Addison on Saturday.

Travis Sindles led the way for the Giants in game one on the mound, throwing a complete game five hitter, allowing just one run in the second inning. He also struck out six in victory.

He was helped at the plate by two three-hit games from Trey Demler and Michael Swift. Demler had a double and drove in six for the Giants, while Swift also added a double. ...
