Y celebrates Livestrong Day

Awareness can be defined as calling attention to and understanding a particular issue. One very important issue that often doesn't surface until it's too late is cancer. On May 17, the Oshkosh YMCA took steps to change this by celebrating Livestrong Day at the Y at both Y locations. The Y hosted informational booths manned with staff and volunteers seeking to raise awareness on how important it is to be proactive in your health and aware of what some manageable risk factors are.
