American Legion baseball roundup: De Pere cruises to Father's Day title

Emmett Kulick was 3-for-4 and John McCormick drove in two runs to lead De Pere to an 8-5 victory over Ash Port in the championship game of the Green Bay Father's Day American Legion baseball tournament on Sunday.

Cal Herlache went 61⁄3 innings to get the win at Green Bay Southwest's VandenPlas Field, striking out four. De Pere improves to 9-2 overall.

Cole Hanson was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs to lead Ash Port (5-1). Ryan Frieder was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.Semifinals ...
