Motorists in downtown Green Bay will not be able to use the Walnut Street Bridge Tuesday morning.

City officials said the bridge would be closed from 8:30 a.m. until noon for minor repairs by the state Department of Transportation.

Motorists will be detoured to the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge at Main Street, but they might also want to use the Donald A. Tilleman Bridge at Mason Street.

Officials said the repairs would depend on clear weather.
