On the first day of Brian M. Cooper's homicide trial in Door County Circuit Court, the prosecutor played the recording of Cooper calling 911 to report the murders he allegedly committed.

Cooper, 36, of Plainfield, Ill., is charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of third-degree sexual assault in the Aug. 19 death of Alisha Bromfield, also of Plainfield, who was six months pregnant.
