During the second day of a homicide trial for a Plainfield, Ill., man accused of strangling a pregnant woman at a Nasewaupee resort, the jury watched the video of his initial interview with Door County investigators after his arrest.
Brian M. Cooper, 36, is charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of third-degree sexual assault in the death of Alisha Bromfield, 21, also of Plainfield, and her unborn daughter. Cooper and Bromfield were in Door County to attend the Aug. 18 wedding of Cooper's sister, Kellie Stryker.
