Invasive species meetings, eradication efforts planned

The first meeting of the Aquatic Invasive Species-Strategic Plan Advisory Committee will will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, at the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan Extension Room 5020.

Sheboygan County Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator Steve Klock and volunteers will discuss a "comprehensive aquatic invasive species strategic plan" in local lakes and rivers now and in the future, Klock said.

Klock also said the next "Ground Army" event will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, on the road leading up to UW-Sheboygan near the Sheboygan River. Klock's Ground Army ...
