Local race fans visiting Road America this weekend could see something nobody has seen in the four years the NASCAR Nationwide Series circuit has been visiting the Elkhart Lake racetrack: a driver defending his victory at the Sheboygan County road course.
Carl Edwards, who won the inaugural Nationwide race in 2010 - it was called the Bucyrus 200 back then - didn't show up in 2011. That year's winner, Reed Sorenson, was a no-show at last year's Sargento 200.
