Sturgeon Bay: Crashes lead to OWI, heroin possession arrest

A Sturgeon Bay man was taken into custody for alleged heroin possession Friday after he was involved in two traffic crashes within moments of each other.

Specer Graf, 22, was traveling north on Lansing Avenue through the intersection with Maple Street and never stopped after striking Andrew James Thew, 23, Niagara, traveling west on Maple, at about 6 p.m., according to a Sturgeon Bay Police Department accident report.

The SBPD police blog noted Graf had also just struck a motorcycle carrying two people on Madison Avenue at Maple Street, but neither was injured. Their motorcycle did sustain ...
