Grammy-winning string band Carolina Chocolate Drops offers its take on old-time music at Door Community Auditorium when it hits the stage for a June 23 concert.

Based in North Carolina, the Chocolate Drops bring their brash, youthful energy to bear on traditional African-American string band music, revitalizing and reinventing one of America's most foundational musical traditions. Their innovation and vigor led National Public Radio to call them "the hottest thing to hit the old-time music community in decades."
