The payment of around $3,000 in delinquent taxes will allow a Fond du Lac gas station/convenience store to renew its alcohol license.

A meeting Tuesday afternoon to consider non-renewal of the alcohol licenses for Scott Street Shell, 665 W. Scott St., was canceled.

It was discovered Tuesday morning that the entity (Bear Property Group) that owns the business is not the same entity that holds the alcohol licenses (Bear Commercial Management Group). Bear Property Group is responsible for the real estate taxes. ...
