A new potential bidder on Green Bay's downtown Clarion Hotel says the hotel could be demolished to make way for a $10 million redevelopment that would include a restaurant and marina.

Edgewater Resources LLC of St. Joseph, Mich., has emerged as the suitor whose interest in the Clarion site has temporarily stalled an earlier deal with the hotel's current management firm.

City officials had previously agreed to sell the hotel for $2.7 million to American Hospitality Management Inc., which promised to invest $4 million in upgrades to the property. ...
