The following defendants recently made initial appearances in Oconto County Circuit Court. Felony counts, punishable with a prison term upon conviction, are denoted by an "(F)."

Felonies

? Darryl J. LaRock, 33, was charged June 11 with strangulation and suffocation (F), operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent (F), battery and criminal damage to property. He was charged in connection with an incident June 7 in the village of Suring, during which choked the woman. He was also charged May 23 with battery and disorderly conduct for allegedly punching the same woman several times in two instances a short time apart on April 23

? Ronald L. Ketchum, 27, of Peshtigo, was charged June 10 with physical abuse of a child-intentionally causing bodily harm (F), battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. He was arrested in connection with an incident the day before in the 300 block of Congress Street in the city of Oconto, during which he allegedly slapped a woman and bit a 16-year-old boy, and damaged a residenced.

? Sarah L. Liebergen, 30, of Sobieski, was charged June 5 with bail jumping (F), over an incident May 24 in the town of Chase. She was also charged May 20 with identity theft to obtain money/credit (F) over an incident July 6 in the town of Chase.

? Ryan J. Netzer, 24, of Oconto, was charged June 4 with two counts of manufacturing/delivery of schedule I or II narcotics (F), possession with intent to deliver narcotics and manufacture/delivery of non-narcotics. The charges were filled in connection with incidents in September, November and December.

? Jason M. Sutrick, 33, no address listed, was charged May 29 with substantial battery-intend bodily harm (F) and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident April 18 in the city of Gillett.

? Douglas J. Piontek, 41, of Wabeno, was charged May 29 with manufacture/delivery of THC-less than 200g (F), possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with an incident April 9 in the town of Townsend. He was also charged May 9 with unlawful phone use-threaten harm and harassment by attempting physical contact over an April 28 incident in the town of Townsend.

? Nancy S. McCarthy, 28, of Baileys Harbor, was charged May 3 with possession of narcotic drugs (F), in connection with an incident March 16 in the town of Little Suamico

Misdemeanors

? Joseph J. Phelps, 36, of Lena, was charged June 11 with disorderly conduct over an incident June 10 in the town of Little River.

? Emilio G. Garcia, 23, of Oconto, was charged June 10 with disorderly conduct over an incident June 8 in the city of Oconto.

? Daniel R. McCord, 25, of Oshkosh, was charged June 10 with theft in connection with a missing generator in the town of Doty the day before.

? Justin R. Gruszynksi, 25, of Oconto, was charged May 30 with disorderly conduct over an incident May 25 in the city of Oconto.

? Jason M. Tassone, 35, of Green Bay, was charged May 24 with possession of controlled substance-repeater, after an incident Feb. 6 in the town of Chase.

? Kimberly A. Carpenter, 28, of Green Bay, was charged May 22 with disorderly conduct and battery in connection with an incident May 13 in the town of Little Suamico.

? David L. Day, 44, of Suring, was charged May 22 with battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property over an incident May 11 in the town of Spruce.

? Robbie W. Peterson, 31, of Oconto, was charged May 21 with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, in connection with an incident April 9 in the city of Oconto.

? Daniel D. Heiting, 59, of Little Chute, was charged May 21 with resisting or obstructing an officer and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, following an incident May 15 in the town of Townsend.

? Paul E. Stamper, 43, of Marathon, was charged May 21 with issuing a worthless check, over an incident on March 28.

? Shane M. Keith, 28, of Oconto Falls, was charged May 16 with obstructing an officer over a May 5 incident in the city of Oconto.

? Dale J. Borkoveck, 61, of Lena, was charged May 13 with battery-domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury, disorderly conduct and reckless driving causing bodily harm in connection with an incident May 6 in the town of Little River.

? Brett J. Woodke, 25, and Rebeca M. Saffran, 37, both of Gillett, were charged May 10 with disorderly conduct in connection with a disturbance in the town of Breed on April 16.

? Michael S. Unger, 53, of Gillett, was charged May 10 with disorderly conduct in connection with an incident May 3 in the city of Gillett.

? Marvin R. Jarvey, 45, of Oconto, was charged May 9 with battery and disorderly conduct over an incident in the city of Oconto on April 26.

? Nathan A. Johnson, 28, of Abrams, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property over an incident April 18 in the town of Pensaukee.

? Zachary C. Allred, 18, of Waterford, was charged May 1 with possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident April 2 in the town of Abrams.

? Danny B. Domagalski, 18, of Oconto, was charged May 1 with the theft of property valued at less than $2,500 and criminal damage to property in connection with an incident Aug. 11, 2011 in the city of Oconto.

? Matthew J. Hanna, 26, of Oconto, was charged with battery and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident April 26 in the city of Oconto.
