Local ranch hosts horse therapy training

Mental health care providers and horse experts from around the state participated in equine-assisted psychotherapy training Sunday through Tuesday at the Horses Treat mental health clinic and ranch in Marshfield.

Participants completed the first step in becoming certified in the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association therapy model.

Dr. Jenna Saul, owner of Horses Treat, wanted her staff members to become EAGALA certified, so she sponsored a private training. ...
