Kohler's Jenna Peters shot a 1-over 73 to tie for second on Day 1 of the Wisconsin State Women's Open tournament on Tuesday at The Legend at Bergamont in Oregon, located just south of Madison.

Lisbeth Brooks, of Waunakee, led the field with an even 72 and Jessie Gerry, of Merrimac, tied with Peters.
