Learn more about a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point-sponsored trip to the United Arab Emirates and Oman through presentations held in Stevens Point and Wausau.

Led by Lynn Kordus, leader of the Arabia tour, the presentations will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Rotary Room of the Portage County Public Library, and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 26 in the Wausau Room of the Marathon County Public Library.

The 14-day tour will be held Jan. 7 to 20, 2014, and includes visits to various historical and cultural sites of interest in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah and Sharjah, as well as the country of Oman. The tour costs $5,196 per person and includes round-trip airfare from Central Wisconsin Airport, airline fuel surcharges and airline departure charges, all breakfasts, lunches and dinners daily (with the exception of one day on which only breakfast will be provided), and admission costs where required.
