Edgar schools to get third superintendent in three years

Wautoma High principal takes over for Dave Brandvold, who leaves the job for family reasons

The principal of Wautoma High School will be the next superintendent for the Edgar School District, the third the district has in the past three years.

Cari Guden, 40, of Wautoma will begin the job on July 1, taking over for Dave Brandvold, who resigned as Edgar superintendent after holding the job for one year. Brandvold's last day is June 28.

A member of Brandvold's wife's family is ill, compelling him to move to western Wisconsin, where he'll be the new principal of the Baldwin-Woodville High School. ...
