Wisconsin Rapids man gets four years for sledgehammer incident

A 46-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man authorities say chased another man while holding a sledgehammer was sentenced in Wood County Circuit Court to four years in prison.

Gary E. Seymour also was given four years of extended supervision for second-degree recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct as a domestic abuse incident. The second-degree recklessly endangering safety charge was reduced from a charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
