Preble's Jake Wallenfang: Boys track & field athle...: G.B. Preble senior Jake Wallenfang had top three finishes in four events at the WIAA D1 state meet, reaching 16 feet to break the pole vault record & being a leg on the 400-meter relay team, which set a state record with a time of 41.5 seconds.

Alex Bloom, jr., Seymour: After missing the podium with a seventh-place finish in the D1 high jump as a sophomore, Bloom won the event in D2. Bloom, who was tied atop the state honor roll with a high jump of 6-8 heading into the state meet, also collected medals in the pole vault (sixth) and long jump (fifth).
