Guest commentary: Make a difference for those who need help to live on own

For the last seven weeks the Green Bay Press-Gazette has been running a DO it! campaign to benefit low-income elderly and disabled persons who live independently but need a little help with activities such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation and transportation.

The campaign's goal is to raise $12,500 in donations to benefit Clarity Care's Help At Home program, which will be matched by a generous $10,000 sponsorship from the J. J. Keller Foundation and a $2,500 sponsorship from an anonymous donor.
