Cranberry Blossom Festival returns for eighth year

After seven years, the annual Cranberry Blossom Festival is undergoing several additions and changes, all aimed at showcasing the "blossoming" community.

The eighth annual event will kick off from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today with Lunch by the River at Veterans Memorial Park. It runs through Sunday.

The festival, which started as a way to promote the local community's cranberry history and industry, has evolved over the years. ...
