Larson offers to buy Old School property in Sister Bay

The village of Sister Bay has made a tentative agreement to sell the Old School property to local business owner Mitch Larson for $400,000. The Village Board will be asked to approve the agreement at a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Village Hall, 10693 N. Bay Shore Drive.

Larson, whose family has ties to Sister Bay going back to the 1890s, owns On Deck Clothing and plans to build eight duplex housing units in a project that also includes his adjacent family property.

His written offer was the first received since the parcel was put on the market in 2008, Village Administrator Robert Kufrin ...
