Shoreland League Baseball: 'Guins even record at 2-2

The Denmark Devilbears led the eight-team Shoreland Baseball League with a 3-0 record heading into the games of June 19. The Kewaunee Chiefs at 2-1 were in a second-place tie with Two Rivers, The Casco Athletics were in fourth at 3-2 and Algoma was in fifth at 2-2.

Algoma's 'Guins lost a home game to Little Chute 11-3 on June 14 but bounced back with a 6-4 victory over Branch on June 15.

The visiting Bandits jumped off to a 4-0 lead before Algoma countered with Parker Erdmann's two-run double in the second against Little Chute. Merrick Griffin's single in the seventh inning plated Erdmann to narrow ...
