The jury from Wood County began deliberations in the double-homicide trial of Brian M. Cooper at about 11:30 a.m. Friday. Those deliberations have ended for the evening without a verdict.

Court is scheduled to return to session at 8 a.m. Saturday.

During closing arguments, Door County District Attorney Raymond Pelrine urged jurors to hold Cooper responsible for two deaths Friday morning, while Cooper's attorney questioned whether his client committed "intentional" homicide. ...
