It's like rebooting a computer, one bogged down by viruses and scripts and cookies or whatever else screws up a computer.

Every year, a group of us four friends gathers for an awesome weekend of camaraderie. And when we return to our regularly-scheduled lives, it's with a fresh sense of purpose. Essentially, it feels like the computer has come back from repairs.

We four friends worked together at the Advocate when we were much younger, in the days without children and with much fewer responsibilities. We were all at the doorsteps of our lives. ...
