Well, quite a surprise (or not), but expected if there was any hint that the Fed might begin the slowing of the quantitative easing bond-buying program.

What it means is that they are expecting the economy to move along fast enough and good enough that they would not need to make it easier for things to get started back up the hill of prosperity for one and all and not for just a few. While it seems like a huge spill in the stock market, it is what is needed to get back into the line of progress. Apparently the markets were depending on the continuation of the QEs.

What do we do? Hang on. ...
