Republicans voting against own interest

So the Republicans are going to give vouchers to people who want to send their children to private schools but can't afford it. How about a voucher for seniors who have no children in school and still have to pay school tax and now have to pay for vouchers. We can afford it?

The Republicans in Congress are trying their best to destroy Social Security and Medicare and the Republicans in the state are making us pay on a dead horse. Speaking with younger people, they are convinced that Social Security will not be there for them, and I tell them that they are right, and it will be their fault because they keep voting into office people who want to destroy the programs that they pay for all their lives.

It's hard to believe that a person would vote against the very programs that benefit them and they pay for. Research your candidate carefully before you vote.
