Ellen Rosenau, 4, of Plover is learning to play T-ball and to ride a bike. She enjoy kicking the soccer ball around and playing with chalk and bubbles at home.

Her 21-month-old brother, Matthew, enjoys regular trips to local parks with his sister as well as visiting the Central Wisconsin Children's Museum, where they like to climb on the toys and the rock climbing wall.

"My kids just love to be outside; they don't want to be inside in the summer," said their mother, Allyssa Rosenau, who encourages her children to be active whenever possible. "We are dealing with a huge incident of childhood ...
