1 killed, 1 seriously hurt in crash near Greenleaf

A 60-year-old Elcho man was killed and a 48-year-old man was seriously injured on Saturday afteroon in a one-vehicle rollover accident about a mile south of Greenleaf.

According to the Brown County Sheriff's Department, a 47-year-old Menasha woman was driving north on St. Pat's Church Road in the town of Holland, approaching Staeven Road, at about 3 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to go into a ditch and overturn.

Lyle J. Bones was pronounced dead at the scene. The 48-year-old man was taken to a local hospital.

The driver sustained minor injuries. She is in the Brown County Jail facing tentative charges of homicide and causing injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle and driving while intoxicated.
