Linebacker Desmond Bishop, who was released by the Green Bay Packers on June 17, agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, his agent Blake Baratz confirmed via Twitter.

After getting cut by the Packers, the first team Bishop visited was the Vikings. Other teams showing interest included Kansas City, Jacksonville, the New York Giants and San Francisco, but Bishop wound up accepting a deal in Minnesota that reportedly will pay him around $1.5 million plus another $500,000 in potential incentives.
