TAP's Stage Door swings open

The in-house theatrical production company, opening June 26 with 'The Glass Menagerie,' looks to build on its debut season

The Stage Door Theatre Company at Third Avenue Playhouse in downtown Sturgeon Bay opens its second season June 26 with Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie," and the most noteworthy change this year is, well, that it's Stage Door's second season.

As TAP opened Stage Door's inaugural season in 2012, the theater was still putting the finishing touches on the back-room, 84-seat Studio Theatre where the shows are held, as well as trying to get the word out that productions were taking the stage four or five times a week.
