Robert Sullivan, the former Manitowoc Lincoln High School basketball star held in connection with the shooting death of his younger brother on Sunday, was released from jail on Tuesday.

Sullivan, 65, was arrested Sunday after the body of his brother, Carey Sullivan, 62, was found at the Manitowoc home they shared.

"I got a call from assistant DA Jill Vendetti," Robert Sullivan's attorney, Brian Maloney of Green Bay, said Tuesday. "She called and said they were going to release him prior to his appearance in court. The investigation is still pending. It is pretty clear there's a substantial ...
