The Green Bay Packers have not scheduled any military flyovers to occur before kickoff at home games this season.

"Our contacts with whom we regularly work are not able to schedule anything on their end. We'll continue to monitor the situation for any changes," Packers spokesman Aaron Popkey said Tuesday in an email.

For about 15 years, the Packers had coordinated military flyovers, which involve aircraft from different military branches flying over Lambeau Field timed with the ending of the national anthem.

Earlier this year, the U.S. Coast Guard announced that it had no plans to conduct flyovers at any community relations events due to mandatory federal budget cuts.
