Appleton's Ryan Sawlsville shared his yearlong weight loss journey on national television Tuesday on ABC's "Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition."

Sawlsville, 24, who once weighed 410 pounds, revealed his 217-pound weight loss during the show. The finale was previously taped at Lambeau Field before about 800 people. He also was presented with a new, state-of-the-art prosthetic arm.

Sawlsville, who lost his left arm in a car accident nearly four years ago, said he used to see himself as damaged goods. ...
