A 25-year-old Wausau man accused of holding a woman in his apartment and beating her during the course of four days is being held on felony charges in the Marathon County Jail.

The man was charged with felony false imprisonment along with misdemeanor charges of battery, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer after the victim, who has a relationship with the man, told police she was beaten with electrical cords and other weapons, police said. Marathon County Circuit Judge Greg Huber ordered the man held Monday on a $25,000 cash bond.
