Wisconsin Rapids School District residents would see a 3 percent increase in their district property tax rate for 2013-14, under terms of a preliminary budget board members approved Monday.

Property owners would pay $10.19 for each $1,000 of equalized value on the school district portion of their taxes, compared to $9.89 in 2012-13, according to documents the district released Monday morning and board members approved Monday evening with few questions and virtually no discussion.
