If anything is distinct about The Mowgli's music, it's that it's undeniably happy.

But it wasn't always that way.

Singer/guitarist Colin Dieden said the band, like a lot of groups, used to write its songs from dark places. Maybe it's the Southern California sun or the pseudo-family the eight-piece band has turned into, but at a certain point, it all changed. ...
