Dedication ceremony for veterans memorial

American Legion Post 436 in Wrightstown will hold a dedication of its new veterans memorial at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29.

The post is located at 924 Main St. in Wrightstown. The memorial is at the front entrance of the building and clearly visible from Main Street.

The memorial honors members of all branches of the military who died during combat operations, and it also honors all military veterans, past and present.

The ceremony will be held inside the post in the event of inclement weather. Snacks and refreshments will be served afterward.

Donations from Wrightstown-area residents, businesses and organizations funded the project.
