The following defendants recently made initial appearances in Oconto County Circuit Court. Felony counts punishable by a prison term are denoted by an "(F)."

Felonies

? Patrick M. Heath, 32, of Scott City, Kan., was charged June 17 with operating while intoxicated-fifth or sixth offense, with a minor child in the vehicle (F) and operating without a license. He was arrested after a deputy was called to the town of Mountain about 6:40 p.m. on June 15, where a pickup had been seen driving the wrong way on Highway 32. An 11-year-old boy left the vehicle when it stopped, and Heath was found passed out behind the wheel.

Misdemeanors

? Brittany A. Nava, 24, of Oconto, was charged June 14 with misdemeanor bail jumping over an incident that day in the city of Oconto.
