Competency exam ordered for man charged with stalking

An Athelstane man was arrested after he was accused of making numerous and calls and leaving messages to a Townsend woman.

Stanley B. LeClair, 63, was charged with stalking, a felony that carries a sentencing punishable by 3-1/2 years in prison.

Judge Jay N. Conley ordered a competency exam for LeClair at his adjourned initial appearance on June 6. ...
