Library to turn red, white, blue for Independence Day

Young artists will be decorating the Manitowoc Public Library on Monday in red, white and blue to commemorate Independence Day. The annual activity is a part of the library's summer programs for children and teens.

? Monday's Paint the Library program begins at 2 p.m. Though all library windows have already been reserved, there will be plenty of red, white and blue chalk with which to decorate the sidewalks. Participants should meet at the library garage on the Franklin Street side of the building, according to a press release.

? Tuesday offers a 10 a.m. story time and a 6:30 p.m. Family ...
