D'Angelo is a sweetheart. This very nice cat was found in Marshfield on West Upham.

He's a handsome gray tabby (gray with black stripes), a 10-pound neutered male and just full of love. If you think you could provide a good home for him or any of the other pets here, go to the website and check out the pictures and descriptions.

There are 42 cats or kittens and 31 dogs or puppies here now. Surely we will have one that would be just right for you. Check them all out at www.cchs-petshelter.org/id8.html.

You've seen the amazing stories of lost pets being returned home, sometimes from great distances. It takes just a second for even the best-mannered pet to zip out the door and be gone.

Microchipping your pet can give you some peace of mind just in case your pet should come up missing. It's a permanent form of ID for the rest of the pet's life. We microchip cats and dogs for $15 at the shelter, and we'll now be microchipping pets in Marshfield from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 8 at the Central Wisconsin Co-op, 106 S. Peach Ave. Don't miss this great opportunity to help your pet get back home if it should become lost.

All cats, 6 months or older, will be free through Saturday during open hours of noon to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. All have been spayed/neutered, blood-tested, vaccinated, treated for fleas/earmites and microchipped, too. Don't miss this very limited offer. Come on in and pick out a new friend for free!
