'Free the Mind' documentary comes to Appleton theaters

Every day, 22 veterans commit suicide. Veterans may be a small demographic, yet make up more than 22 percent of the total suicides in the United States, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs 2012 study.

Dryhootch Fox Valley will present "Free the Mind," a Danish documentary by Phie Ambo about the effects of breathing exercises and meditation on those struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Monday, July 15, from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. at Marcus Appleton East Cinemas.
