The Rebel Alliance Theatre troupe will be at the Omro Fourth of July event this year. You will see them strolling around Scott Park in their garb, talking up their evening performance of "The Great Swordsmen vs Pirates Battle Extravaganza (featuring Sir Julian, Strix, and Lady Jordis) with a special appearance by Skittles the Squid." The show starts at 7:30 pm in the Scott Park Pavilion, and admission is free.

Adventure, swordplay, and silliness collide at Rebel Alliance Theatre's July 4 performance of "The Great Swordsmen vs Pirates Battle Extravaganza, featuring Sir Julian, Strix, and Lady Jordis (with a special appearance by Skittles the Squid)."

Three warriors must protect a valuable treasure from the clutches of vicious and mysterious pirates. The only trouble is, the heroes can't seem to stop arguing. Straight laced Sir Julian, trouble making thief Strix, and defiant Lady Jordis are attempting to guard the treasure, but are having personality conflicts. They are also having pirate conflicts, however, as an evil Captain tries to steal the treasure. The three heroes have to find a way to tolerate one another if they have any hope of defeating the pirates. The whole tale is told by the mysterious and hilarious 'Bard', who provides humor, music, and sometimes saves the day. Swashbuckling, swordplay, derring-do. and perhaps a few water balloons - what more could anyone ask for (except, just maybe, a giant squid!).
