Sheboygan man sentenced to prison for baseball bat attack

A 25-year-old Sheboygan man has been sentenced to prison for beating a romantic rival with a baseball bat, according to court records released Wednesday.

Andrew C. Kunstman, of 1427B Indiana Ave., was sentenced this week by Sheboygan County Circuit Court Judge James Bolgert to three years in prison and three years extended supervision.

Kunstman earlier pleaded no contest as part of a plea deal to felony counts of burglary while armed with a dangerous weapon and first-degree recklessly endangering safety. The charges together carry a maximum 17 years in prison. ...
