Aurora lays off housekeepers in Sheboygan area

Aurora Health Care officials on Wednesday confirmed that they've laid off about 30 housekeeping employees working at Aurora clinics in the Sheboygan area.

Aurora spokesman Adam Beeson said it was a cost-saving move and that the cleaning work will now be contracted out to an outside agency.

"We feel it's a more responsible way for us to manage our health care dollars," Beeson said. ...
