His final start for the Wausau West baseball team this spring was one of the most painful for Jordan Huehnerfuss - and not just because of the result.

The Warriors' ace threw 151 pitches in West's 9-5 WIAA Division 1 regional final loss to Wisconsin Valley Conference and crosstown rival D.C. Everest. The loss ended the Warriors' season and the high school career for Huehnerfuss, who convinced his coaches to leave him in the game, despite the innings and pitches piling up.
