For the winners of the Olympic individual triathlon held in Ashwaubenon on June 2, competing in major athletic events is a family affair.

Michael McQueen was the first participant to complete the Aurora BayCare Triathlon with a time of 2 hours and 51 seconds. Jayme Wyss was the first women's finisher, as she completed the 800-yard swim, 29-mile bike and 6.2-mile run in 2:18:56. Both participants live in Wausau with families that are active in the fitness world.
