EDITOR: As we are all aware, there is currently much political turmoil in Wisconsin. Our state seems torn in many directions, and people of all political stripes are uncertain of where we are headed. It is at such times that wisdom and integrity are of paramount importance in a legislator.

In her short time in office, Rep. Mandy Wright has displayed these qualities in abundance.

Although Wright ran for office as a Democrat, she is genuinely nonpartisan. Her concern is for her people, conservatives and progressives alike. Her courage in placing the interests of her community above her own has been second to none.

We have a treasure in Wright. She has been selfless, unwavering in her search for truth, and has proven to be true stateswoman with the strength and vision to rise above the political fray and seek what is best for all of us.
