City Band to hold special July 4 concert

The Wisconsin Rapids City Band will present its annual Fourth of July concert at 7 p.m. July 4 outside the Centralia Center, 220 Third Ave. S., Wisconsin Rapids. The concert is being sponsored by the Wisconsin Rapids Education Association.

Selections include: "National Emblem March" by E. E. Bagley, "Songs For America" by Irving Berlin, "The Klaxon March" by Henry Fillmore, "Star Spangled Spectacular" by George M. Cohan, "The Washington Post March" by John Philip Sousa, "Battle Cry Of Freedom" arranged by Jerry Nowak, "An American Tribute" arranged by John Edmondson, "The Fairest Of The Fair March" by John Philip Sousa, "Armed Forces Salute," arranged by Bob Lowden and "The Stars And Stripes Forever March" by John Philip Sousa.

Because of the special concert, there will not be a Tuesday concert at Robinson Park.
